Who Is Behind This Blog?
My name is Seki Hudson. I’m an engineer originally from Tanzania, currently based in Mexico. Solar energy was not just a topic I read about; it was my profession.
Here’s my solar background in brief.
- Certified Solar Technician: certified by ANCE (Asociación de Normalización y Certificación), Mexico’s national standards body, in 2014, covering solar system design, installation, and commissioning.
- Solar System Engineer at Inelecsa (2014–2016): designed, installed, and commissioned solar energy systems professionally.
- University Instructor (2016–2017): taught electrical and energy-related subjects at the university level.
- Electrical Systems Designer (2017–2019): designed low and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Industrial Safety Engineer (2019–present): currently specializing in gas, smoke, and flame detection systems in industrial environments.
I no longer work in the solar industry day-to-day, but my ANCE certification, hands-on installation experience, and engineering background give me a solid foundation to write about solar energy accurately and practically.
